High Adventure

Scouting is about adventure: getting out into the world and pushing your limits!

Every summer, Troop 1 has a High Adventure camp: in recent years, we've backpacked at Glacier National Park, paddled through the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, and learned about the history of the voyageurs at Fort William.

In 2015, we have two High Adventure camps: a backpacking trip on the Superior Hiking Trail, and an expedition crew going to Philmont.

The basic requirements for a High Adventure camp are that a Scout have earned the rank of First Class, and the First Aid Merit Badge. Depending on the camp, there may be other requirements.
